Santa days - major sucess!

Larch Hill Campsite is please to announce
that Santa Days on The 14th & 15th Dec 2009 raised a total of €8,000 to be donated to The Jack & Jill Foundation and Saplings Schools for children with Autism.

Also collected was 42 sleeping bags that will be donated to Focus Ireland for distribution to young homeless persons by their outreach division.

Over 1,100 Beaver Scouts from all over Ireland visited Santa here in Larch Hill International Campsite over the weekend.

A big thank you must go The Larch Hill Meitheal Volunteer Staff including Chief Elf Aislinn Russell and to all the Ventures and Leaders from:

The first 3 winners in the 2009 Scouting Ireland Grand Raffle have been drawn....

First Prize:

Family Holiday to Disney World Florida up to the value of €6500 or €6500 Cash.

Winner: Ahad Khalil

Group that sold ticket: 20th Dublin Dundrum

Second Prize:

1 Week Med. Cruise and 1 week at Resort for 2 adults up to the value of €3000 or
€3000 cash

Winner: Karina Carey

Group that sold ticket: 8^th Mayo Belmullet

Third Prize:

The Algarve for 2 adults for 2 weeks up to the value of €1250 or €1250 Cash.

Winner: Derek Wynne

Group that sold ticket: 59^th Dublin Johnstown/Killiney

found this to be a useful fundraiser. The estimated amount raised so far
for all Groups is €510,000

The winners will be notified by post and the result will be published in
the Irish Independent and Irish Examiner. The remaining 9 draws take place
on Thursday 7^th January 2010.
